We like to indulge in desserts from time to time and what is a brownie sundae or cup of hot chocolate without whipped cream? Unfortunately, the store-bought cans can carry unwanted ingredients and this is why we like to whip our own light and fluffy whipped cream at home – putting us in control of the ingredients, hence, making it the “healthier” option.
You will need:
- Heavy whipping cream (1 1/2 cups)
- Powdered sugar (1/3 cups)
- Vanilla extract (1/2 tsp)
Instructions – Whisk all ingredients together in a large bowl until it thickens and stiff peaks appear.
Warning – Do not whisk for too long as the cream will turn into butter.
